Obituary of Elizabeth Ann Bohatch

Elizabeth Ann (Kocur) Bohatch, 86 passed away peacefully Sunday April 11, 2021. She was born April 26, 1934 in Bovard the daughter of the late Charles and Marie (Kulha) Kocar. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Paul P. Bohatch and baby girl Elizabeth. Elizabeth was a woman of strong faith and a member of St. Florian Church. She was a past president and member of the Alter Society and a member of CD and A. A Graduate of Greensburg Salem High School. She was a retired Post Master of Calumet. She cherished her many friendships she made over the years. She loved volunteering, baking (best apple pie ever), bowling , bingo, planning trips to the casino, but her family was most important to her. Elizabeth was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She clearly will be missed and survived by her loving children; Paul Bohatch, Stephen (Elaine) Bohatch, Robert Bohatch, Teresa (George) Miller. Four sisters; Joan Montgomery, Mary Kathryn Saunders, Carol Weber, Judy Hill and a brother John Kocur. Nine grandchilden; Justin (Miriam) Bohatch, Matthew Bohatch, Ashlee (Kevin) Lauffer, Sara (Ken) McNair, Lisa (Brandon) Radicic, Andrew Bohatch, Nathan (Alonna) Bohatch, David Miller, Rebekah (Brian) Bohatch. Seven great-grandchilderen; Jordan, Alayna, Weston, Alyson, Kaia, Maisyn,Vance and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Family and friends will be received in the Jay A. Hoffer Funeral Home, Norvelt Wednesday 2-4 p.m and 6-8 p.m vigil prayers will be 3:45 p.m in the funeral home. Transfer prayers will be Thursday 10:15 a.m in the Funeral home. Her Funeral Mass will be Thursday 11 a.m at St. Florian Church, Trauger with Reverend John A. Sedlak celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Florian Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to St. Florian Church or Alter Society.
