Carl Franklin Miller, 80 of Greensburg, passed away August 26, 2021. Born on January 25, 1941 in Greensburg, he was the son of the late Logan "Francis" and Marie (Neidherhiser) Miller. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brother in -law, Robert Borland, brother in-law Tim Deeds and brother and sister in- law; Albert (Connie) Baptise. He is survived by his wife Peggy (Deeds) Miller. In addition to his wife he is survived by three children Kevin (Michelle) Miller, Chris Miller and Eric (Sara) Miller. Carl is also survived by his sister, Erna Marie Borland, brother; Paul (Mona) Miller, grandchildren; Ashley, Riley, Brantley Milller and Alex (Bailey) Schnur, sister in-law; Dee Deeds, brother and sister in-law, Robert (Lois Jean) Harkcom, brother and sister in-law, Pat (Jodi) Michaels and several nieces and nephews. Carl was a member of many group's he joined the Army/National Guard, Dry Ridge Fire Department, Tall Cedars of Lebanon, Westmoreland Forest 77 (Masonic), he was a Machinist by trade, prior to his retirement at Kennametal. Family and friends will be received in the Jay A. Hoffer Funeral Home, Norvelt, Sunday, August 29 from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Carl's Funeral Service will be Monday, August 30 11 A.M. at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, Trauger with L. Samuel Scheiderer Officiating Interment to follow in St. Paul Cemetery. Military graveside service will be accorded by Armbrust Veteran's Association. Memorial Contributions may be made in Carl's name to Dry Ridge Fire Department, 116 White School Rd. Greensburg, Pa., 15601 or St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 108 Dutch Hill Rd, Latrobe, Pa, 15650.
